For Firefox Users:

• Once installation completed you need to restart browser and after that you will get this addon on Tools menu named as “Default user agent switcher”.
• Click on that and select Iphone 3.0 to change the user agent of the browser. Now you can open any website in mobile mode and also open mobile websites in pc.

2. Opera mini Simulator:

• Go to Run and type devmgmt.msc then hit Enter and it will open Device Manager.
• Now navigate Universal Serial Bus Controller and expand it.

                                                           

• After expanding USB controller, perform a right click on selected one and select Disable. Do the same on all of the expanding USB options.
• Now your USB ports are block. If you want enable USB ports then just right click on it and select Enable.

Disable or block USB ports by using third party tool

Also you can block or disable USB ports in your computer by using a third party software or tool called USB Port Locked . This is a small, simple and portable tool that allows you to disable and enable USB ports in your computer.

How to Backup and Restore Drivers on Windows 7/8 in a Right Way

Windows device drivers installation is the most time taking process. We may have windows installation disk but most of the people don’t have drivers( CD/DVD). So here I have listed you a best and working method to backup your windows PC drivers and you can restore them with in minutes of time after installing windows on your PC. This will definitely reduce the time of searching drivers for windows and installing them on your PC.

Backup and Restore Drivers on Windows 7/8:

For this purpose I tried two free windows software and they are working fine without raising any errors and problems.

Backup Drivers Using Double Driver:

I’ve never seen this type of portable utility which works effectively to perform both backup and restoring drivers. It has simple user interface with only necessary options and you can complete the whole process within minutes of  time.

1. First you need to download double driver from the below link which is from a trusted software download center.

• Download Double Driver

2. After downloading tool you will extract to a folder, navigate to that folder and click on “dd” application to start the application.
3. This application user interface is simple, click on “backup” button and select “scan current system” to get all installed drivers on your PC.

4. Now Click on select button on top of the application window and choose “select all” from the drop down menu. If you know what are the important drivers then you backup those drivers only.
5. By default this application checks “non Microsoft” drivers . So you don’t need to select any other options. Finally click on “Backup Now” button.
6. It prompts a dialogue box which asks you to choose backup location in the destination section and select “structured folder” in the output field, then click on ok button to start the backup process.

7. It takes some time to backup all drivers, once the process will be completed it shows a dialogue box like this

Now Lets Check out drivers restoring process.
1. Once you click on “Restore” button it will asks you to run this application with administrative privileges. Simply click on yes button to start application again in administration mode.

2. Now again click on “restore” button and select “locate backup” at the bottom of the application.
3. Choose the option which one you use for backup process. Here I use default method, so select “default location” and choose the available driver backup from the list.

4. Now it list out all drivers which are taken backup by me using the default method. Its time to restore all drivers by clicking on “Restore Now” button.

5. That’s it, you’ve successfully completed both backup and restoring windows pc drivers without any problem.

Notes:

1. At the time of restoring drivers you need to give some permission to run non authorized drivers. If you know all drivers are good then you can restore them without any worries.
2.This application only perform backup and restoring of drivers but not update your windows drivers.
You can also try “slimdrivers“ utility to backup drivers.

How to Remove Shortcut Virus from Pendrive and Restore files

First of all, I am going to share my personal experience with you. Today I have inserted my USB drive in a Public computer and what I have seen that the computer is infected with Shortcut Virus . I did not know that the Computer has shortcut virus. The more strange thing is that there is an Anti-Virus software is installed on that computer. But the anti-virus software is not doing its job. Then I have come to know that all files stored on my pendrive is now looking like a Shortcut and I can only access these files from the infected computer only. I can’t see any file from my Desktop.I was so much terrified because I had many valuable data and photos in that particular Pendrive. If you have the same problem, you can read this post.

Remove Shortcut Virus method One :

Insert the pendrive in a Linux based computer. You will be able to see those viruses in a Linux based computer. Now delete those files. If you or friends don’t have any Linux based computer then follow method two.

Remove Shortcut Virus method Two :

After the virus attack I was so much worried because I did not have any backup copies of those files . Then I have used this simple method and It has made me relieved. So what I have done to fix this problem ? I am sharing my tip so that you can follow the same thing and fix this unwanted problem. The method I am going to share is very easy. You don’t need to use any complex CMD command . You just need to use a software named 7-ZIP file manager. This software is used to extract zipped files but we will use its file management feature so that those virus can’t execute their process as we all know that Explorer.exe will treat those shortcut things as legitimate.

First download 7-zip file manager from here.

Now check the screenshot below:

Delete those files marked as Red color and Orange color. Please be sure that there is not any virus files in the pendrive. There can be some problem if your files are hidden , then you have to change your setting from your control panel> Folder options > Select View tab > Enable Show hidden file and folders. Now you will be able to see your files in an empty folder. Now Press CTRL+A to Mark your files and folders and press copy on top of 7-zip.

Now save them on anywhere in your Hardisk. After doing all of this Format your pendrive.

You can also follow this method if your own computer is infected i.e. your harddisk is infected and delete all viruses by following this method.

Caiman.us is a purely freeware game website, you won't find any demos or shareware games here. It boasts an impressive 4,630 games (3,395 unique games) and is one of the most frequently updated freeware gaming websites I've seen.

4. Fullgames.sk:

Fullgames.sk lists a decent number of free computer games both downloadable freeware and free online game but they are also listed along with other retail game assets such as demos and trailers.

5. GameHippo:

GameHippo offers reviews, links, and information on a wide variety of freeware PC games. It's a revival of the original Game Hippo site that went down back in 2008. While it does not have as many game's listed as the original (as of Nov 2009), it's library of freeware games is slowly building nearly everyday. Hopefully the new site will be able to exceed what the original offered.

6. Home of the Underdogs:

Home of the Underdogs is a freeware/abandon ware site that offers a vast number of titles for download. It is a virtual gold mine for many classic out of print games and has grown to a library of over 5,000 games. The list of freeware game titles is fairly impressive but it's been quite some time since this site has been updated. Update Sept 2009 - Home of the Underdogs has gone through a number of fan supported redesigns and relaunch leading to multiple sites that are host some (but not all) of the games found on the original.

7.Mega Games:

MegaGames has more info on retail game assets such as cheats, demos, and patches but it does have an excellent free computer game section that is definitely worth a look. Most games are hosted on MegaGames and/or provide links/info to the official game sites.

8.Noodan:

Noodan had loads of freeware games and free online games. Navigation could be better but once you get use to the site it's fairly easy to see what's new and there is a text search available.

9.Planet Freeplay:

Planet Freeplay is a great source for finding quality freeware games by offering easy to use navigation and more than 1500 downloadable freeware and online games. Listed front and center of the Planet Freeplay home page are the latest freeware titles that have been added to the site. These listings provide the game title, a small preview screenshot and a short description.

10. Reloaded Abandonia:

Reloaded provides is a free computer game site dedicated to remakes of classic/retro video games and community made freeware games. Layout and navigation of Reloaded is very nice with screenshots and descriptions of all games listed in it's directory.
